Tamara is a 23-year-old second-generation Sri Lankan American from western New York. A Day Just For Us is her first published book. Tamara is a proud student mom raising an adventurous three-year-old daughter with her husband. She is working toward her degree in early childhood education with a goal of becoming an educator. Tamara hopes to challenge the stereotypes of misrepresented groups and to amplify voices that are often left unheard.
