My name is Mich and I am 16 years old. I’m originally from San Salvador, El Salvador. I like to read, listen to music, and dance. I’m in the 10th grade, and this is my first published book.Of this process I can say that I loved letting myself get carried away by my creativity. I wanted to write this book because I think it’s important to talk about the immigration experience and to let kids know they shouldn’t feel bad about being an immigrant. I dedicate this book to my family, whom I left behind in my country. I always carry them with me in my heart.
